Fluidic Elantra: Bollywood style avatar in automotive industry!!!

One thing that guys will never stops fantasising is about splurging on their vehicles. If the bike remains a man’s true first love, then the car is his mistress. And so when it comes to either of them, only best will do.  So, the recently launched Korean motors Hyundai's fifth generation Fluidic Elantra- is grabbing every one's attention in the market.

On 13 August Hyundai motor has re-launched its entry segment stylish sedan in India, the Hyundai Elantra. Hyundai has worked hard over the new look of this sedan and made it look concave, convex surfaces and stylish than earlier models.

This car is the beginning. Through this car Hyundai had proved that they can do much more than making small cars.

Now following the fluidic sculpture of both the sides and while addressing the arches wheels a lots of definition is engraved over the side body of the fifth generation sedan. For me the most attractive part of the car is the trailing side which is most beautifully designed in the global automotive industry.  The statement is hard but believe me as the tail light sweep sails through to bonnet by rear back door, it looks organic and the most appealing. Finally, the big heavy bumper doesn’t look inappropriate but magnifies the beauty of it. The rear part of the car is the real winner for me which will defiantly grab attention on roads.

The Elantra entry in the market must have toasted the other car models in the same segment. The Hyundai Elantra targets the young achievers of the country within the age group of 25 to 45yrs. Hyundai Elantra was already running on the roads of India between 2004 to 2007 but the car was discontinued in 2007 because of its slumped sales in India or the car was not able to command the desired level of market penetration, although the segment witnessed growth. The car was not able to generate enough appeal amongst the buyers, preferred a more contemporary design and innovative interiors.

As like bollywood fashion, the new avatar of the Elantra is rejuvenating and better than ever. The car equipped with the signature fluidic design theme while boasting the Eon look in sedan segment. The fluidic Elantra attracts through its proportionate looks that are bound to catch eyeballs. Its coupe inspired body lines, has stretched headlight and the most awesome taillights, sculpted wheels with silicon tires. The perfect combination of all makes the fludic Elantra an aggressive stance.

The elegance of the exterior is suitable according to the well toned interior that exude a quality fit and finish which is at par with what one expects from the a car of this segment. The two tone dash with chrome accents around the center console is decent but not stylish. However, the color combination with silver grey and dark cream color looks awkward. The leg room is quite spacious; the sloping roof line does hamper for tall passengers at the rear. The pulley based adjustable steering and the automatic adjustable driver seat pushing me to say it’s more of a driver car than owners.

The another rich element that multiply the shine of Elantra, which we have observed in the Fluidic elantra and that is the company’s ablitiy to equip the machine with a high level of kit. The machine is a creature of comforts and features which include dual zone climate control, ventilated front seat, high end audio system with AUX/ ipod and Bluetooth connectivity, rear seat audio controls, steering mounted audio and cruise controls, a glove box, an electro chromic rear view mirror with rear view camera , rear parking sensors, rear air conditioning vents, electronically folding and heated ORVMs, electronically adjustable driver seat as well a keyless entry and push button start/stop.

Having said that, the overall appeal of the Elantra stands as testament to how much attention Hyundai has paid to customer feedback regarding the demands that can be afforded to a car of this class.

 Performance and Engine:

Hyundai Elantra has a powerful 1.8-litre of Dual VTVT petrol engine under the hood, which propels the power of 146bhp along with 181Nm of peak torque, which makes the car extremely fuel efficient. The engine is smartly equipped with both six-speed manual and automatic gearbox and boosts up the throttle response and pushes up the fuel economy. Hyundai Motors have designed this sedan intelligently and kept in mind that it has to be perfect both inside out.

 Safety:

Design and sturdy looks is the key feature for the manufacturer but safety is always a prime concern for them. The fluidic Elantra comes with six airbags, one for the driver and other for the co-passenger comprising of the side airbags. The alarm systems together with the anti-theft save your car from theft and harm. But this beauty has flaws too. I found GPS theft system is missing from the safety feature and many more which is quite available in the market at affordable price.

So guys what are waiting for, if your pocket allow go and adore the Hyundai new damsel and if not, then don’t get disheartened, it will give you a chance to oogle!!!!!
