Indulata Mohanty gets Mohodadhi's best story writer awards for 2013

Indulata Mohanty gets Mohodadhi's best story writer awards for 2013 Bhubaneshwar: Well known Odia writer Indulata Mohanty was felicitated as the best story writer of the year 2012 by 'Mohodadhi', a literary organisation based at Puri, Odisha.

Born on April 15, 1940 in Keunjhar district of Odisha, Mrs Indulata Mohanty completed her Post Graduation in History.

Her literary works include five story collections in Odia, translation of 14 stories of Nobel Laureate Pearl S Buck in Odia, 8 novels of Jnanpeeth Awardee Amrita Pritam in Odia and translation of biography of Raja Ram Bahadur in Odia for National Book Trust of India. She is a regular translator for Yug Shakti Gayatri.

Mrs Indulata Mohanty is the winner of many awards. She was awarded Suchitra Best Writer's award in the year 1990, Sucharita Devi Gantayat award in 1994, Pallivani Best writers award in 1999, Sahakar best writers award in 2003 and Manorama best writer's award.
