Ranbir Kapoor asks Katrina to stay away from Deepika New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer, ‘Tamasha’ directed by Imtiaz Ali kick-starts in French island of Corsica and the present heartthrob of Bollywood Ranbir Kapoor asked his girlfriend and Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif to keep a distance from the film and Deepika Padukone.

After spending some good time together with Kat, now Ranbir totally wants to concentrate on his work.

After the super-duper success of ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, Deepika and Ranbir again coming together for ‘Tamasha’ and the Kapoor lad feels blessed to work with Deepika again. He said, "I am very blessed that I can work with an actor like Deepika, because she adds so much to a film with her beauty, mind, talent and sheer presence.

I am grateful that I'm getting an opportunity to work with her," reported the Hindustan Times.

After much publicized break-up, Ranbir and Deepika teamed up for YJHW and it turned out to be a blockbuster, Ranbir said about teaming up with Deepika again, "We are mature individuals besides being great friends.

We have gotten over the past. A lot has been said and written about it (their relationship) for the last seven years. (I keep getting asked) 'Is it odd to work with Deepika' or 'is it good to team up with her?' Kapoor added. "But we have already done a film together, which was successful and people really appreciated our chemistry.

This was despite the fact is that we were working together after our break-up."

The ‘Barfi’ actor also excited to work with Imtiaz Ali again after ‘Rockstar’.

"He gave me a film (Rockstar; 2011) that's very close to my heart. It was a character that really changed my perception of acting and how an actor should approach movies," Kapoor added.

‘Tamaasha’ is Deepika Padukone's third movie with Imtiaz after ‘Love Aaj Kal’ (2009) and ‘Cocktail’(2012).

‘Tamaasha’, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is expected to hit the screens in 2015.
