President, PM congratulates Sania Mirza for winning the US Open Mixed Doubles tournament

New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee has congratulated Sania Mirza for winning the US Open Mixed Doubles tournament.

In a message, the President has said, “Please accept my hearty congratulations on having won the US Open Mixed Doubles tournament, making it your third Grand Slam title.

You have done India proud through this achievement and your success is an example of what can be accomplished through hard work and dedication.

I wish you the very best for all future endeavours”.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also has congratulated Sania Mirza for winning the US Open Mixed Doubles title.

“Congratulations to Sania Mirza for the victory in the US Open Mixed Doubles Finals. We are very proud of the achievement,” the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister also congratulated Japanese tennis player Kei Nishikori for making it to the US Open Finals.

“Good news from US Open continued with Kei Nishikori`s exemplary win! My best wishes to this young sportsman for the Final,” the Prime Minister said.
