Obama to join PM Narendra Modi in 'Mann Ki Baat' on January 27

Mumbai: Ahead of US President visit to India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday tweeted about a joint radio address with Barack Obama, who will travel to New Delhi later this week to witness the Republic Day Parade.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, " This month’s 'Mann Ki Baat' episode will be a special one, where our Republic Day guest @BarackObama & I will share our thoughts together."

Modi further added, "I am eagerly looking forward to the special 'Mann Ki Baat' programme with President @BarackObama, which will be aired on 27th January."

'Mann Ki Baat' programme, which is aired on All India Radio, is Narendra Modi's initiative to reach out to millions of Indians.

Modi also asked to send questions till the 25th using hashtag #AskObamaModi.

In a series of tweets, he added, "#AskObamaModi & be a part of this memorable 'Mann Ki Baat' programme, illustrating a special bond between India & USA."

Prime Minister also tweeted a link to post questions on a specially created open forum.
