Hyundai launches new sport styled vehicle i20 Active

Hyundai launches new sport styled vehicle i20 Active New Delhi: Automobile manufacturer Hyundai Motor India Tuesday launched its new sport styled vehicle i20 Active at the global debut event here.

The vehicle comes in both petrol and diesel powered variants and is priced between Rs.6.38 lakh and Rs.8.89 lakh (ex-Showroom Delhi).
 
"Reaffirming our commitment to Indian market, we are delighted to launch i20 Active. The i20 Active is a sport styled vehicle with many segment unique features," said BS Seo, managing director and chief executive, Hyundai Motor India.

According to the company, the i20 Active will be a trend-setter model reflecting Hyundai's modern premium brand direction and will propel Hyundai's growth in India.

"Designed with a vision of creating cutting edge driving innovations and delivering outstanding comfort features, the i20 Active will appeal to young consumers in India, raising the bar in the sport styled vehicle segment," said Seo.

The vehicle is powered by both petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.2 Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine gives a mileage output of 17.19 km per litre. The 1.4 U2 CRDi diesel engine returns a mileage of 21.19 km per litre.

Variant-wise the vehicle is priced between Rs.6.38 lakh and Rs.7.09 lakh for petrol powered i20 Active. The diesel variant is ranged between Rs.7.63 lakh and Rs.8.89 lakh.

The vehicle sports several unique features such as projector headlamps with LED day time running and positioning lamps. Interior colour package, aluminium pedals and smart key with push button start.

Other features of the vehicle includes steering position reminder, auto door unlock, service reminder, parking sensor display and headlamp escort function.
