'Margarita With A Straw' do average business

Mumbai: According to the reports, Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao gives proper support to the Kalki Koechlin starrer movie 'Margarita with a Straw'.

This new flick is an awe-inspiring creation of Shonali Bose however it is not so much enjoyable. The movie had a promising weekend post which the exhibitors have increased the number of shows.

The acting of the lead actress Kalki Koechlin is outstanding and remarkable which has earned her accolades from all quarters. But the movie still requires more support than Indian box office success.

Even before the film released it had garnered a lot of appreciation. It garnered accolades internationally wherein it traveled to numerous film festivals.

If we talk about the box office collection of the Indian drama movie, it has managed to collect Rs. 50 lakhs (approx) on the very first day. While on the second day it has collected approx Rs. 75 lakhs. And on the third day of weekend the movie has collected around Rs. 1 crores.

The Kalki Koechlin starrer movie is a different movie apart from this it is very much admired by Indian spectators. Despite of such reviews the Margarita with a straw box office collection has to face a big competition from the new releases movie Mr. X of Emraan Hashmi.

The story of the movie is based on a student of Delhi University, who suffer from cerebral palsy and leaves India to take admission in New York University. That is the main reason the actress Kalki has get a lot of appreciation from the industry in the international market for her acting in the film.
