President condoles the loss of lives in a bus accident in Jammu and Kashmir

New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee has condoled the loss of lives in a bus accident in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir today.
 
In his message to N.N. Vohra, the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, the President has said "I am saddened to learn that a bus carrying passengers met with an accident today in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir leading to the loss of lives and injury to many. I understand relief operations are currently underway.   
 
I call upon the State Government and other agencies to provide all possible aid to the bereaved families who have lost their near and dear ones as well as medical assistance to the injured.
 
Please convey my heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased. I also wish speedy recovery to the injured persons”.
