Ahead of NSA-level talks, Pak alleges India was involved in 2014 Peshawar school massacre

Islamabad: Ahead of the National Security Advisor level talks, Pakistan has alleged that India was involved in the Peshawar massacre, which claimed at least 150 lives, including 136 children.

The neighbouring country further sought to take the credit for re-initiation of dialogue between the two countries, claiming it was the Sharif administration who proposed NSA-level talks in Ufa, Russia.

Asserting that they will share dossiers of Indian involvement of terror activities, Pakistan said that they were preparing to raise issue of alleged Indian role in Peshawar, Baluchistan, FATA and Afghanistan during the talks.

The claim by Pakistan comes even as Pakistani Taliban has already claimed the responsibility for the attack. The Pakistan Army had in February also claimed that most of the terrorists involved in the brutal attack in December 2014 were either killed or arrested.

In one of the worst acts of human savagery ever perpetrated, the Pakistani Taliban had slaughtered at least 150 people in a brazen attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar on December 16, 2014, in retaliation to the army operation against the extremists in North Waziristan.

The NSA-level talks are expected to take place in August. The announcement of India and Pakistan going for NSA-level talks was made recently when Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif met in Ufa.
