 We must reform to transform the country, said PM Modi New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Delhi Economic Conclave on Friday.

Hosted by the Finance Ministry, the theme of the conclave this year is 'Realising India's JAM (Jan-Dhan, Aadhar, Mobile) Vision'.

AM (Jan-Dhan Aadhar Mobile) Vision is just about achieving maximum: PM Modi

This is what he said:

PM: We have improved the economy by every economic indicator our economy is doing better than what we took 18 months ago.

PM: In all parameters like GDP, fiscal deficit, revenue, we are doing better.

PM:Success is the reason behind our series of well laid out policy,. We have embarked on a course of fiscal consolidation, We have increased fiscal productive investment. We decontrolled diesel prices and curbed energy subsidies. The coal cess was increased by four times and reduced the carbon tax.

PM: We want to have maximum value for every rupee spent, maximum penetration in technology across the masses.

PM: We have reduced wasteful expenditure to innovative methods .

PM: We must reform to transform, to help all citizens, especially to help the poor

PM:We have started empowering unorganised sector

PM: Swach bharat and clean India program will create a swach bharat and also create a powers of well being for woman

PM; We introduced  series of agro reforms

PM: We have appointed accountable, credible bankers on key positions

PM: India should be known as job creator nation not job seeker

PM: We have laid foundation for 12 million jobs in India

PM: Reforms to transform is like a marathon not sprint

PM:We are serious about economic transformation through technological growth

PM: Pace of award of new highway projects rose to 23.4 km per
day currently from 5.2 km in 2012-13

PM: Empowering the poor far more effective than empowering poverty-alleviating industry

We ended the requirement to visit Govt offices for life certification for pensioners,by introducing online biometric identification: PM Modi
