President, Vice President greets people on Diwali

President, Vice President greets people on Diwali New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice President M Hamid Ansari has sent his greetings to fellow countrymen on the eve of Diwali.

In his message, the President has said, “On the joyous occasion of Diwali, I convey warm greetings and good wishes to all my fellow countrymen in India and around the world.

Diwali represents the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. May the festival serve as a catalyst for greater unity within our country. Let us on this occasion join forces, share happiness, help the needy and engage in collective efforts to lead our nation to greater and greater glory.

May the festival bring joy and prosperity to all sections of our people across the length and breadth of the country. I urge all Indians to celebrate Diwali in a pollution free manner”.

The Vice President of India M. Hamid Ansari has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali.

In his message, he said that the festival of lights signifies the victory of good over evil and reaffirms our belief in the noble ideals and morals of Lord Rama’s life.

“I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali, the festival of lights.

Celebrated with traditional fervor and zeal, Deepawali signifies the victory of good over evil and reaffirms our belief in the noble ideals and morals of Lord Rama’s life.
