63rd National Film Awards: In winners, Big B and Kangana New Delhi: The Chairpersons of 3 Juries for the 63rd National Film Awards presented the report to the Union Minister for Finance, Corporate Affairs and Information & Broadcasting Arun Jaitley in New Delhi today but ToI announced the winners list before government announcement.

According to the ToI report, it's that time of the year again when the best in cinema across the country in various languages is honoured. The 63rd National Film Awards are back and the winners have just been announced.

From the main set of awards, S S Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' has won for Best Film, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Best Director ('Bajirao Mastani'), legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan for Best Actor ('Piku') and Kangana Ranaut for Best Actress ('Tanu Weds Manu Returns').

Speaking about Kangana Ranaut's victory for her double whammy in Tanu Weds Manu Returns, her co-star from the film, said, "In the last seven years that she has been in the industry, she has just grown. It is rare."

Bhansali is over the moon with the victory. "Whether it is mainstream, art-house or parallel cinema, the director and cinematographer have toiled hard on the film and I am ecstatic to win the Award," said SLB.

Best Film: Baahubali - The Beginning
Best Director: Sanjay Leela Bhansali for 'Bajirao Mastani'
Best Actor: Amitabh Bachchan for 'Piku'
Best Actress: Kangana Ranaut for 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns'
