Naked selfies 'until I die': Kim Kardashian at 2016 Webby Awards New York: Kim Kardashian has made a promise that we fully believe she'll keep. The brunette beauty, who stirred up some controversy over her bare-bodied and super racy photograph on Instagram recently, promised that she'll be sharing her enviable figure with masses again (and again and again and again).

Kim attended the 2016 Webby Awards tonight where she accepted the inaugural Break the Internet Award for her "unparalleled success online" and for inventing "a new type of celebrity," and during her acceptance speech was simply, "Naked selfies until I die."

For those who are sitting there still wondering what this event is, we got you. The Webby's are essentially the Oscars of the Internet, and award winners are only allowed five words in their acceptance speeches.

According to a press release, the award is "in recognition of her unprecedented success online and the bold and creative ways she has used the Internet, social media, apps and video to connect with a truly global audience."

The naked picture, a throwback image of a blonde Kim from 2015, had sparked both positive and negative reactions, including from fellow celebs. Kim fired back with an app post, in which she said she is "empowered" but her body and sexuality and spoke out against "body-shaming and slut-shaming."

While the reality star deserves plenty of credit, Kim isn't the only famous face who received a Webby this year. Girls star Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner were honored for their new site Lenny Letters. In addition, Kanye West, Jessica Alba and The Onion will be recognized for their contributions to the web.
