I will never stop fighting hateful RSS agenda, stand by every word I said: Rahul Gandhi New Delhi: A day after Supreme Court agreed with Rahul Gandhi's statement that he never accused the RSS as an institution for Mahatma Gandhi's killing, the Congress vice-president hit out at the saffron outfit.

"I will never stop fighting the hateful and divisive agenda of RSS. I stand by every single word I said, Rahul tweeted today.

He also shared a video of his speech at Bhiwandi in which he had hit out at the RSS.

At the election rally in March last year, Rahul had accused RSS members of killing Gandhi, who was gunned down by Nathuram Godse.

Last month, the Supreme Court had ordered the 46-year-old leader to either apologise or face trial for the remark, an offer the Congress leader had then rejected.

"You must either apologise or face trial. The case must be decided on merit, whether what you spoke was for public good or not. You can't make wholesale denunciation of an organisation. The purpose of law is not to turn citizens into litigants. History is the biggest enemy of privacy," the Supreme Court had observed.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Digvijay Singh today dismissed suggestions that Rahul Gandhi has done a U-turn in the Supreme Court on the RSS and said the party Vice President stands by his assertion that the person who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi was from the organisation.

"No U-Turn by Rahul Gandhi on RSS. He stands by what he said. Person who killed was from RSS. It is the Ideology of hate and violence which killed Mahatma Gandhi", the Congress General Secretary said in a series of tweets.
