Two JeM terrorists posing as guides arrested by Army from Uri: Reports New Delhi: Two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists posing as guides in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir were arrested by the Army on Saturday, according to NDTV.

According to reports in ANI, in a joint operation by the Army and Border Security Force (BSF), two PoK nationals were apprehended on September 21. During the investigation, the individuals have revealed their identities as Ahasan Kursheed @ DC, s/o Mohd Kursheed of Khaliana Kalan and Faisal Hussain Awan s/o Gul Akbar of Pottha Jahangir both in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

The duo was recruited two years ago by the JeM and was guiding terrorists to infiltrate across the line of control.

The details provided by them are being examined and corroborated by the concerned agencies.

This development comes seven days after deadly attacks by terrorists in Uri which killed 18 soldiers. The heavily armed terrorists targeted the rear administrate base of a unit at Uri, Kashmir. Four militants were also killed in the encounter.

The relations between India and Pakistan took a hit after the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani, but the relations reached an all-time low following the Uri attack.
