President and PM congratulates ISRO on the successful launch of PSLV-C35

New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on the successful launch of the PSLV-C35, carrying advanced satellite SCATSAT-1 alongwith seven other co-passenger satellites.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated ISRO and its scientists on successful launch of PSLV-C35/advanced weather satellite SCATSAT-1 and 7 other co-passenger satellites.
"Moment of immense joy & pride for India. Congratulations to ISRO on successful launch of PSLV-C35/SCATSAT-1 & 7 co-passenger satellites.
Our space scientists keep scripting history. Their innovative zeal has touched the lives of 125 crore Indians & made India proud worldwide", the Prime Minister said.
In a message to A.S. Kiran Kumar, Chairman of ISRO, the President has said, “My heartiest congratulations to you and your entire team at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the successful launch of PSLV-C35, carrying advanced satellite SCATSAT-1 alongwith seven other co-passenger satellites from Algeria, Canada, USA and two from India.
I understand that SCATSAT-1 will help provide wind vector data products for weather forecasting cyclone detection and tracking services to the users. The nation is proud of this important achievement which is a significant milestone in the progress of our space capabilities.
Kindly convey my greetings to the members of your team of scientists, engineers, technologists and all others associated with this great mission. I wish the ISRO continued success in the coming years”.
