This Android app shows PM Narendra Modi speech on new Rs 2,000 notes New Delhi: After the demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 we have seen a rise in the use of mobile wallets and net banking transactions. People have moved to using digital wallet apps like Paytm and Freecharge. While on one hand people are still finding it difficult to use the Rs 2,000 currency notes and are figuring ways to skip the long queues outside banks and ATMs, there is one startup which has already put the Rs 2,000 into use. Of all the weird things we have heard since Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 went out of business this one wins through.

‘Modi Keynote’ is an app by Barra Skull Studios, a Bangalore based-startup. The app is available for Android smartphone user on Google Play Store and currently there is no word if the app will launch for iOS users or not. At the time of filing this story, the app was downloaded 7,867 times to be precise.

What the app does is that it will display Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech on black money and scrapping the old Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes and bring in the new Rs 2,000 and Rs 500 notes. However, the catch here is that you need to place your smartphone on the new currency notes for it
to work

Reports further say that it will also run on the new Rs 500 note when launched. The video on the note further zooms-in and zooms-out as per the movements of your hand in and out.

The app only works for smartphones with Android 4.4 KitKat and above.  BGRIndia tried using the app and found the app to be little sluggish. The video takes a lot of time to load and Rs 2,000 note has to be put at a particular angle for the video to appear. Internet has been filled with question about the app, and out the many queries people have about the app, one of the most asked question was whether this app lets you find if the currency is original or fake? Well, please note that the Modi Keynote app will not let you find out original or fake notes.
