Baahubali: The Beginning to re-release on April 7, announces Karan Johar Mumbai: The makers of Baahubali have announced the re-release date of the immensely successful Baahubali: The Beginning. The makers are planning to release the first installment on April 7, two weeks before Baahubali 2: The Conclusion hits the screens.

Karan Johar, whose Dharma Productions is presenting the Hindi version of the film, shared the news on Twitter. "It's time for refresh the memory of this epic!! And for those who haven't seen it! You can't miss this one! Baahubali re-releasing 7th April," he tweeted.

With its grand sets and epic performances, Baahubali became the most-anticipated film of the year. Earlier, director SS Rajamouli said, he wanted the audiences to revisit the world of Baahubali before the release of the second edition. The ace filmmaker's magnum opus is releasing on April 28, and the cast and crew are leaving no stone unturned to promote the film. The film stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles.

The second installment of the blockbuster franchise is slated to set another milestone by releasing at maximum number of screens ever. The film will release in 6,500 screens, which is highest ever in Indian history. It seems that Baahubali 2 will cross the colossal mark set by its prequel, which stands tall at a turnover of more than Rs 600 crore.

The filmmakers plan to encash more from the eager anticipation, as the cinematic magnificence of the first installment is set to roll all over again for its fans.
