Kapil Mishra attacked by 'AAP supporter' at his Delhi residence New Delhi: Sacked AAP minister Kapil Mishra, who is sitting on a 'satyagraha' after leveling graft charges against party chief Arvind Kejriwal, was attacked by an alleged 'AAP supporter' on Wednesday evening, reported Times Now.

Mishra was at his residence, where he is holding a hunger strike, when he was attacked by a young man who claims to be an AAP supporter. The assailant slapped Mishra before being restrained by bystanders.

The young man has been taken into police custody.

"Last night I was threatened by some unidentified people who said I will shot. These things would happen in the fight I have started. I don't need any security. God is by my side," Mishra told reporters after the attack.

Mishra today began his hunger strike demanding that Aam Aadmi Party leaders disclose the details of funding for their foreign tours.

"I am sitting on a satyagraha till I get clarification on details of international travel expenses of some senior AAP leaders. It is not a dharna but a satyagraha. I would like to send a message to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to put out the details of the foreign tours of his five leaders--Satyendra Jain, Ashish Khetan, Raghav Chaddha, Sanjay Singh and Durgesh Pathak--in public domain," Mishra told reporters earlier.

Mishra was suspended from the AAP after his startling allegation that he witnessed Kejriwal accepting Rs 2 crore in a dodgy transaction.

Today, he further alleged that details of the foreign trips by AAP leaders would reveal a lot about alleged corruption by them.

Mishra has blamed the AAP for the attack on his person. The former minister had claimed to have witnessed Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal accepting Rs 2 crore in bribe from health minister Satyendar Jain last week.

He had then filed a complaint with the Anti Corruption Branch in this regard. Following this stunning allegation, Mishra was suspended from the AAP's primary membership.
