Last year, 1,254 dengue cases were reported while as in 2015, the number of cases reported was 966, the health officials said.

Not only dengue, there are cases of swine flu in the city as well. Six deaths have been reported in the city so far because of swine flu. The health department, however, said no fresh cases have been reported. “There is no fresh case of swine flu, chikungunya or malaria in the city,” said  Dr Gaurav.
