Samsung Galaxy S10 India launch teased on Flipkart

Delhi: Samsung's Unpacked event is taking place On February where the company is expected to announce the Galaxy S10 series. Following its global unveiling, the Galaxy S10 will be coming to India, and Flipkart has now started teasing its launch. The e-commerce platform has put up a banner of the S10 Unpacked invite along with the option to get notified. As per an earlier report, the Galaxy S10 India on March 6 and will go on sale starting March 15.

The Galaxy S10 launch event is set to begin at 11am PT on February 20, which means 12:30am IST (February 21) in India. Samsung will likely live stream the launch event, and we will inform you about the same on launch day. At the Unpacked event, Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S10, S10e and S10+ flagships. The company is also rumoured to launch a new Galaxy Buds truly wireless earphones and a Galaxy Watch Active smartwatch.

 

Ahead of the launch of the Galaxy S10, some reports have detailed the expected Indian pricing of the Galaxy S10 series. The S10e will be the cheapest model of the three with a probably price tag of around Rs 50,000. There is only one variant of the Galaxy S10e expected with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The regular Galaxy S10 will reportedly get a starting price of Rs 65,000, while the S10+ is said to start at Rs 75,000.

The Galaxy S10 series will come with the the new Infinity-O display from Samsung. The S10e is said to come with a flat Infinity-O display with a single hole on the display for the selfie camera. Both the S10 and S10+ will be getting curved Infinity-O displays, but the latter will get a wider cutout for dual selfie cameras. The Galaxy S10 and S10+ are tipped to come with triple rear cameras and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Galaxy S10e is being touted as an iPhone XR competitor as it will lose out on a few features. The S10e will not get an in-display fingerprint sensor, but rather a sensor embedded in the power button. It will also come with dual rear cameras and a smaller battery. All three Galaxy S10 phones can be expected to come with a Snapdragon 855/ Exynos 9820 SoC, Android Pie-based One UI and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
