Ramdev Launches First Evidence Based Covid Medicine Coronil

Yoga Guru Ramdev held a press conference today to launch the scientific evidence of Covid Medicine 'Coronil', developed by Patanjali. Yoga Guru Ramdev released the scientific research paper on 'the first evidence-based medicine for COVID 19 by Patanjali' in the presence of Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan and Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari.

Ramdev announced that the Ministry of AYUSH has accepted the 'Coronil tablet' and has given and has given the approval to use this medicine to treat Covid 19

Baba Ramdev said, 'When we worked to save life to millions through 'Coronil' many people raised questions. Some people feel that research work can only be done abroad. Research on Ayurveda is generally doubted. All the doubts related to Coronil have now been removed and the government has also given its nod for the usage of Coronil tablets and taking a step towards Atmanirbhar India Patanjali will now help people to treat Covid. During the launch 'Coronil',  Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that there should be no doubt about the authenticity of Ayurveda and Baba Ramdev. The dream of Baba Ramdev is the dream of the Government of India.

Coronil drug was also launched last year

Earlier, Patanjali Ayurved launched 'Coronil' tablets on 23 June 2020, claiming that it can cure Covid 19 within seven days. However, as soon as the drug was launched, the AYUSH Ministry said that they have no information about it. After this, the ministry also stopped Patanjali from advertising the drug.

Patanjali had previously claimed that two Ayurveda-based medicines have shown 100 per cent favorable results during clinical trials on Covid-19 patients, except one with a life support system. However, the Ministry of AYUSH allowed Patanjali to sell 'Coronil' as a durg to boost immunity.
