Delhi: A marathon roundtable Conclave held recently in Delhi on Odisha's Economic emancipation. The Online and Offline Convention was hosted at Aerocity by the Think Tank Group Odisha Positive in association with the Roots of Odisha Foundation. The panel of distinguished speakers deliberated on varied economic issues concerning the opportunities and challenges being confronted by the State of Odisha in the midst and  post-pandemic period. 
 
Initiating the debate being livestreamed through social media platforms industry veteran Michael Jon Mattsen, CEO of Mattsen Kumar LLC, USA, highlighted the wider scope of employment available in Odisha with the advent of new professional culture of Working from Home being mandated because of Covid - 19 protocol. 
 
Addressing the Power Packed Round Table meeting Pankaj Gupta, CEO, V Cloudx Pte Ltd, Singapore, emphasised the dire need of fine tunning the Eco system of Odisha to enable the State for utilising its vast resources to optimum level not only to foster its own economy but also to greatly contribute for the growth of National Economy. Delivering his speech during the Conclave Publisher and Editor of Voice of Civil Society, Ravi Pani C.A., recalled the golden era of Odias and their unusual business acumen during maritime trade voyage across the globe. Joining the Conference through Video Conferencing  Lt. Col. Dr. Parminder Kaur stressed the requirement of providing the state of the Art Child Care Facilities in remote tribal hamlets in Odisha recounting her ground Zero personal experience during her visit to hinterlands of Koraput, Kandhamal and Phulbani districts.   
 
Renowned Environmentalist and Eco Traveller Yogendra Singh adjudged Odisha's Eco- Adventure - Spiritual Tourism Potential as World Class Comparing his extensive tours within Odisha and Outside in the western countries particularly focussing on the high Class Rural hospitality in the State and exuded confidence that these positive factors will definitely be instrumental in furthering rural level employment. Participating in the Virtual Event Dr. Sadanand Sahoo, Professor of Sociology and Anthropology and Founder of Global Research Forum on Diaspora and Transnationalism underlined on the priority of drawing the attention of Odias Diaspora across the Globe towards the gloomy financial scenario in their mother state and expected their full commitment and large contribution for the all round development of Odisha. Putting his views during the internet session Dr. Srikant Panigrahi, Director General, Indian Institute of Sustainable Development, informed about the availability of a vast coastline and several forest valleys and appealed Corporates to invest in new and renewable energy sectors such as Wind, Solar, Wave and Geo - thermal in Odisha. Anchoring and moderating the two hour long digital discussion, the Founder of Roots of Odisha Foundation, Sudhir Kumar Dash, C.A., declared that Odisha as a State being doubly blessed with Surplus in Power and stability in Politics, has the merit, mechanism and momentum of achieving the highest ladder of economic excellence. Delivering the Welcome address during the Webinar, the Founder of Odisha Positive and senior Advocate Sanjib Kumar Mohanty praised the uniqueness and unifying character of Odisha amongst the presence of huge diversity in language, Culture, lifestyle and ethnicity, which places the State in a prime position to attain the perpetual peace and eternal bliss. Senior Member of Odisha Positive Dr. Bikram Mohanty presented the vote of thanks.
