Mumbai: As Mohit Suri's much awaited film 'Murder 2' is ready to hit the theaters today, speculations are making rounds that the movie is a straight lift from 2008 Korean flick 'The Chaser'.
In the Korean flick, a human-trafficker is on the hunt of a serial killer who is finishing off pretty girls. From what people have heard, the plot of Murder 2 is the same. The film has already grabbed eye-balls because of the steamy chemistry between the lead pair of Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Interestingly, one of the posters of Murder 2, having a topless Jacqueline, is a direct rip off from another Koren film Bad Guy (2001).
However, Mukesh Bhatt, producer of the movie, plainly disagrees that the film is copied from The Chaser and stresses on the fact that it’s an original work inspired from the infamous Nithari Killings. He even vows that he hasn’t even seen 'The Chaser'.
According to Bhatts, Murder 2 has all the elements which the prequel Murder had. And if the accusation comes true, it will indeed be the case. After all, even Murder was copied from the Hollywood flick 'Unfaithful'.
