London: She's recently returned from a well-earned holiday in Mexico after one of the most stressful years of her life. And it appears the change to her usual routine has had a relaxing effect on Nicole Scherzinger.
The 33-year-old posted a picture of herself on Twitter wearing nothing but a white towel- and not so much as a dab of make-up. Fresh-faced and clear-skinned, there's no doubt that the beauty carried off the natural look with panache.
She captioned the shot: 'Uhh...Does anyone know how to work this twisty towel thing? Haha!' Perhaps her flawless skin is down to the spa treatments she enjoyed during her time at Punta de Mita's Imanta resort.
She treated fans to titbits from her break via Twitter, sharing pictures of whale watching, boat trips, and horse riding on the beach.
There's no doubt she was in need of a getaway, as her first season as a judge on X Factor US left her drained and in doubt as to which cirection to take her career next, the Daily Mail reported.
In a revealing interview the star said she has not been able to release a new album because of her commitments as an X Factor judge, and that she wants to focus more on her day job as a performer.
The former Pussycat Doll told RadarOnline: 'Next year for me, it’s about my music.This has been quite a learning experience, quite a journey for me.'
'I didn’t expect to have been so emotional through the whole elimination process. I wanted to just mentor and empower artists.'
And after filming Men In Black III with Will Smith earlier this year, she added she would like to try her hand at more acting.
She said: 'I really want to find the right roles and the right opportunities in acting. Theater is actually what I studied in college.'
And it looks like Nicole won't need to wait long for the opportunity to flex those acting muscles, as Scherzinger is reportedly the 'number one target' for Andrew Lloyd Webber's new TV show.
The composer is searching for a lead for his hit musical Jesus Christ Superstar in a new TV talent series, and it has been claimed that he is keen for Nicole to join the competition's judging panel.
'Andrew is obsessed with Nicole - he thinks the world of her,' a source told The Sun.
'As soon as he got the nod his new show was going to happen, Nicole was his number one target. He's got a great working relationship with her and Nicole hugely respects his work.'
There have also been reports that Andrew has cast Nicole as Mary Magdalene in a new big screen adaptation of Jesus Christ Superstar.
