Rhea Chakraborty Gets Bail In Drugs Case After spending a complete month behind bars inside Byculla jail, Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty gets a huge relief as Bombay High Court granted bail to her on Wednesday. The High Court has however rejected the bail plea of her brother Showik Chakraborty. The 28-year-old actress has to surrender her passport and furnish a personal  bond of Rs. 1 lakh.

Narcotics Control Bureau had arrested them in connection with a drugs case related to Sushant Singh Rajput death. She was arrested under various sections of NDPS on September 8, as sufficient evidences were found against her.

While granting bail, the HC said, "Rhea should mark her presence for 10 days in police station after release, deposit her passport, not travel abroad without court permission and inform investigating officer if she has to leave Greater Mumbai. "

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been probing the ‘drug angle’ in the case and has arrested Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, Dipesh Sawant and a number of drug peddlers till now.

In a hearing on Tuesday, NDPS Court had extended her judicial custody along with her brother  Showik Chakraborty and others, till 20th October. The siblings were earlier supposed to be  in judicial custody till October 6.

Meanwhile, it is pertinent  to note that the alleged murder angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput's death has been ruled out in AIIMS forensic report, establishing that the actor had committed suicide. However, a concrete conclusion cannot be reached as Central Bureau of Investigation is conducting its probe in the matter.

Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, was found hanging at his apartment in suburban Bandra on June 14 this year.
