Movement of Positivity Leadership Awards confered, Amtes' get Lifetime Acheivement, 27 as Gems of India New Delhi: The 2nd National Summit on Leadership in Positivity and Gems Positivity Award 2022 was organised by Movement of Positivity  at New Delhi. Former President of India Ram Nath Kovind gave away the Lifetime Acheivement Award to Dr Prakash & Mandakini Amte for their stellar work in uplifing and empowering tribal communities of Maharatshtra. 27 people from different walks of life were awarded Gems of India Award 2022 for their outstanding contribution to society.

Honoring them with the award former President Kovind said that Dr Prakash & Mandakini Amte are true examples of 'When the going is tough, the tough gets going.' He emphasised that the Movement of Positivity is all about seeing the 'glass half empty or half full.  

Receiving Lifetime Acheivement Award from the former President of India Prakash Amte narrated the challenges they faced while trying to help various backward communities including earning their trust. In her address, Mandakini Amte, who too was a doctor, spoke about the work done to erect hospitals, schools and various other facilities to support the downtrodden and enhance the quality of their lives.

Dr Dnyaneshwar Mulay, former Ambassador to Maldives and Member  of National Human Rights Commission, Founder and patron of the Movement of Positivity in his welcome address said, "This summit is very unique in nature. Positivity is a virtue which is deeply rooted in our culture. We only have to look at the Indian constitution to realize the widespread influence of Positivity in our country." Dr Mulay further said, "Inclusivity, constructive approach to life, and creativity are at the core of our movement. It is extremely crucial to possess a holistic approach towards things which is why we have paved the way for Movement of Positivity.' 'Even though we have achieved a lot in 75 years there is lots to do more', he said.

The summit was addressed by eminent people like Justice Arun Kumar Mishra, Chairperson, NHRC, Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi, CEO Niti Ayog Amitabh Kant, Chairman ICCR Dr Vinay Sahastrabuddhi, Deputy Chairman Rajya Sabha Harivansh Narayan Singh, Air Marshal Ajit Shankarrao Bhonsle, CEO GS Dallas Group USA Sanjeev Khanna, Vice Chief of the Naval Staff Vice Admiral Satish Kumar Ghormade.  

Cultural performances by artists from dance school Le Rythmn and Ruhaniyat and by Padamshri Rajesh Prassana on flute entralled the audience.
