London: An Indian director saw the ex Miss England hopeful on a website in 2010 and offered her a role playing the daughter of a chief in the British Raj of the 1940s.
Amy, 21 — who was born on the Isle of Man and raised in Liverpool — became an instant superstar as the leading lady opposite Indian heart-throb Arya.
Her latest Hindi musical, called There Was A Crazy Guy, is out later this month and she is also now a top model.
According to the Sun.co.uk, Amy, who divides her time between the UK and India, said: "At home I'm just Amy, but in India I get mobbed."
We can see why she's so Hindi-mand!
