LA: She gained an army of male fans when she played a vampire princess in From Dusk Till Dawn, so no doubt she'll gain a few more following her latest role.
According to the Daily Mail report, Salma Hayek plays a stripper in her latest film, which is entitled Americano, and proves that even at the age of 45, she's got a body that most women would be envious of.
The 45-year-old actress plays Lola in the French drama which was written and directed by Mathieu Demy
In a trailer for the film - which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year - Hayek can be seen on stage dancing around a pole wearing skimpy underwear after her co-star Mathieu Demy seeks her out in Mexico.
Following his mother's death, Demy's character Martin heads back to Los Angeles to deal with inheritance formalities.
However, when he arrives back in the town where he grew up, he finds out that his mother has in fact been left to Lola - who his mother was very fond of.
The film sees him travel to Mexico where he tracks down Lola, who works in seedy club Americano in a rough part of town.
But it's not so easy for Martin to hand over the property as Lola's boss proves to be a problem and appears to want to get rid of her altogether, while Martin must face up to his past.
The upcoming film was released in France last year and was shown at the BFI London Film Festival in October.
It's been quite a few years since Hayek as played a sexy character, since she starred as Santanico Pandemonium in 1996's From Dusk Till Dawn and 1999/s Dogma.
The mother-of-one has borrowed her voice more recently to children's film Puss In Boots and also starred in Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over in 2003. However, Hayek clearly wanted to take on a more provocative role, and once again she has proved that she has the appearance to do so.
