Christina Aguilera admits: 'I don't like to wear underwear'

LA: Christina Aguilera thinks wearing knickers is just pants. The Dirrty singer, 31, told US chat show host Chelsea Handler: "I don’t like to wear underwear.

"I like to be as free as possible at all times. It’s just who I am. It's empowering. It's p**** power!"

Wearing just a long T-shirt and tights, Christina started the Chelsea Lately show alone onstage.

She told the audience Chelsea had often implied she had an aversion to trousers.

 She said: "I’ve heard all about the s*** Chelsea has talked about me not being a fan of wearing pants and proudly.

"So when they asked me to come on I thought: 'I’ll do it, if Chelsea did one thing for me'."

The host then made her entrance wearing tiny hot pants, tights and ankle boots.

Cheeky Christina clearly approved. She told Chelsea: "You look hot. it's a good look for you!"

Christina was on the show to promote her new single Your Body and seventh studio album Lotus.

 We revealed last week that the curvy star appears naked on the album's cover - but doesn't give two hoots about the criticism she may face.

She said: "It's very interesting, because I don't see that album cover as being nude at all.

"I actually feel very covered and it's all about embracing white light and freedom, and I didn't want it to be about too much fashion.

"I wanted it to be raw, real and free and a celebration of life and the woman I've become."
