LA: She was always set to make an impact on the evening by picking up the Ultimate Newcomer award.
But actress Zawe Ashton had another trick up her sleeve to seal her spot in the limelight at the Cosmopolitan Women of the Year awards on Tuesday night.
According to the Daily Mail report, the Fresh Meat star also stood out thanks to her daring choice of gown revealing her physique in a plunging emerald green gown designed by Hussein Chalayan.
Not only did she show off her cleavage in the sexy number but she also went for a high side split which showed off her enviable pins. And she was certainly in a brave mood with the asymmetric cut, with one long sleeve.
Zawe finished off her look with some nude heels, her sleek pixie style hairdo and her nude make-up highlighted her glowing skin.She had clearly had a very good night after picking up her gong, which she posed with inside the bash at London's Victoria and Albert Hall.
Zawe posed with Fresh Meat co-star Jack Whitehall who gave her a glowing intro before presenting her with her award.
The young actress paid tribute to her mother, a special needs teacher, dedicating her award to her, for being an inspiration, and never questioning her ambitions.
She had written on Twitter before the event: 'En route to Cosmos.... @CosmopolitanUK please help me breathe should I meet ANYONE from #Xfactor.'
Although she wasn't the only big winner on the night. X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos picked up the Ultimate TV Personality Award, while her colleague Nicole Scherzinger was named Ultimate Fun Fearless Female by the magazine at the star-studded bash.
Meanwhile Team GB gold medallist Jessica Ennis stepped out in a fitted white dress with a bow detail sitting just under her bust for a stunning look as she took to the stage to be awarded the Ultimate Olympian title.
And silver-medalist Louis Smith, currently starring in Strictly Come Dancing, was declared 2012's Ultimate Hottie.
The lavish awards bash was hosted by mother-to-be Fearne Cotton.
Ahead of the ceremony the DJ said: 'I'm so happy to be hosting Cosmopolitan's Ultimate Women Awards. I've hosted for six years now, and each time we get to celebrate the most incredible women who have shown earth shattering amounts of courage, love, bravery, and strength. I'm inspired and humbled year on year.'
The pregnant Radio 1 star acted as one of the judges in the real-life categories of the awards along with Britain's Got Talent panellist Alesha Dixon, Professor Green, Katie Piper and Karren Brady from The Apprentice.
