LA: Lacey Banghard has become the third contestant to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house.The 20-year-old glamour model was up against Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, Rylan Clark and Claire Richards in facing the public vote.
Emerging from the house to a chorus of mostly cheers, the Bedford-born beauty looked thrilled as she waved to the crowd.As host Brian Dowling spoke to the house, the crowd erupted into a chorus of 'Get Speidi out!'
And despite the pair being booed heavily, they were announced as the first safe contestants.Rylan appeared to be by far the most popular housemate of those up for eviction, with the crowd chanting his name as Brian spoke.
The emotional X Factor star cradled his head in his hands as he learned he was safe, before Brian announced Lacey would be the third person to leave.Wowing in a classy black sequin floor-length gown, Lacey couldn't seem to believe her eyes as she looked at the crowd below cheering her on.
Speaking to Brian in her post-exit interview, she said: 'Everyone booed me on the way in. I just wanted to change people's perception of me.' Lacey also opened up on the explosive house argument when Heidi and Spencer re-entered the house after a weekend of hiding in the basement.
She explained: 'It was horrible. When you think about it they hadn't actually done anything bad to us so I felt bad for saying mean things.
'I tried to get to know them. They really didn't want to be in the house. You start to think you get to know them and then you don't. They have got really big hearts, though.'
Being the youngest housemate in Celebrity Big Brother, Lacey admitted she felt a little lonely once actor Sam Robertson left the house last week.
She said: 'I didn't notice the age divide until Sam left, but once he'd gone I realised I didn't have anyone else to talk to.'
Wiping tears away as she headed off the stage to hug her mother, Lacey told Brian she was backing former EastEnders actress Gillian Taylforth to win the show.
Over the past few days, Lacey has made the most of her womanly charms, perhaps in an attempt to remain in the house.
On Monday, she conveniently 'forgot' her towel when emerging from the shower, meaning she had to use just her hands to protect her modesty.
And on Tuesday night's episode, Heidi let rip at her for attempting to shower in front of Spencer.
As a sudden attack of the green-eyed monster took over, she fumed: 'That is super inappropriate! Do what you want to do, but not around me and my husband. That's fighting talk where I come from.'
All of the remaining housemates, Claire Richards, Frankie Dettori, Gillian Taylforth, Tricia Penrose, Speidi, Neil 'Razor' Ruddock, Ryan Moloney and Rylan Clark, now face eviction from the Celebrity Big Brother house on Friday night.
