In the shadow of Dennis Rodman-Kim Jong Un friendships, most unlikely celebrity bromances It normally takes a reality TV show to bring about unlikely celebrity friendships, like Rylan and Razor Ruddock on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year.

But just sometimes famous fellas who you wouldn’t put together in a million years end up becoming BFFs.

Former basketball star Dennis Rodman has struck up perhaps one of the weirdest friendships we can remember in North Korea leader Kim Jong-Un.

According to the Sun.co.uk report the US sports star has become bessie mates with the diminutive fella who the world fears has his finger on nukes aimed at America.

But Dennis doesn’t agree and has been sticking up for his pal, telling us: “He doesn’t want to kill anyone — he wants to talk peace.”

Check out some of the other oddball pairings of recent years below...

Vladimir Putin & Steven Seagal

Another world leader who is pals with a washed-up celebrity is Russia’s Putin. Seagal says he has some Russian heritage and can speak the lingo.

They were together in Moscow this week promoting a fitness programme for kids.

One of Putin’s aides said: “Putin and Seagal have long been friends, and they regularly meet each other.”

Matthew McConaughey & Lance Armstrong

Actor Matthew and cyclist Lance have been great pals for years, having both been born and raised in Austin, Texas.

But it appears their bromance has hit the skids since Lance’s doping revelations.

Matt revealed recently how the news shocked him, saying: "I was mad. I then got kind of sad for him. First off, I had a part of me that took it kind of personally, which I think a lot of people have."

Harry Styles & Rio Ferdinand

We know Rio Ferdinand loves his music, he set up his own record label after all. But who knew he was a One Direction fan.

Turns out he went to see the band this weekend TWICE - and has buddied up with friend of the stars Harry Styles.

The singer donned a red Man Utd shirt for the gig with ‘Ferdinand’ on the back, tweeting after the gig: "Hope you enjoyed the show tonight @rioferdy5.

United defender Rio replied too, saying: "The rolled up shirt sleeve is what I'm doing next game. That's what makes you beautiful..."

Snoop Dogg & David Beckham

Becks and Snoop became close while living in Los Angeles, but perhaps a little too close.

As well as letting Becks have an early listen to his new tunes, Snoop reckons he also gives his pal advice for the bedroom.

He said: "I said that after their 11th anniversary they should have some more kids and romance to some Snoop tunes.

"And now he's having a beautiful girl to play with my daughter Chocolate."

Peter Andre & Chris Brown

We're not too sure how close these too are - but judging by the picture you would think they had been pals for years.

The Mysterious Girl singer Tweeted a snap of himself alongside Rihanna’s on-off fella while in the US.

He accompanied his picture with the update: "Had another awesome day recording in Record Plant studios in LA .Great hanging out with Chris Brown."

Simon Pegg & Chris Martin

This friendship is all down to “the quantum attraction thing”, according to Pegg.

"We met because we were both going to do what we did, because we were on a similar path.”

He says the pair - who met at a Toploader gig - are "people with a similar drive, similar interests, similar impulses, being drawn together for that very reason". # Source: The Sun.co.uk
