New Delhi: Internationally renowned Haematologist cum Oncologist Dr Nalini Pati has taken over the Presidentship of E-Club of Rotary International District 3262. IT consultant Nilambar Mishra has been appointed as the Secretary of the Club. Rtn Durga Prasad Gouda and Rtn Ravi Kumar Nayak will be new Vice-President and Treasurer of the Club respectively.Dr Pati was installed as the 10th President of this Club recently in a hybrid ceremony. While the main function was held in Canberra, Rotarians from across the Globe joined the Mega Event online. Galaxy of distinguished dignitaries like District Governor Manoj Tripathy, PDG Jayashree Mohanty, PDG S. P. Bagaria, PP Mangi Lal Baldewa, PP Dr Chidatmika Khatua, PP Tanmay Mohanty, PP Nihar Bhuiyan, PP Ashis Sahoo, PP Abhijit Sahoo, Rtn. Roopali Kakar, Rtn. Dr. Harapriya Dhal, Rtn. Dr. Pratyush, Rtn. Dr Sushmita Das, Rtn. Mohammad Ruqnuddin Ahemad, Devamitra Padhi and Rtn Dr Lita Mohapatra were present during the Grand occasion. The Rotary E-Club has been established in the year 2016 by the ever energetic, charismatic and dynamic PDG Jayashree Mohanty. With her towering leadership and unwavering commitment, the E–Club has been strengthened leaps and bonds over the years and has now attained an awesome height.The E–Club has the rare privilege of delivering several unique and worthy projects to Odisha. Expressing her joy PDG Jayashree Mohanty remarked that Rotary E–Club is inching closer to its founding vision having proudly boasting of achieving three Global Grants to its credit.
DGN Haran Ramchandran served as the installing officer at Canberra. In a statement Rtn. Shri Ramchandran said a proud Canberra citizen and a passionate Rotarian, Professor Nalini Pati brings a wealth of leadership, compassion and professional excellence to this role. Dr Pati is the First Australian Odia to take over this coveted position. Odia Diaspora in Australia were overwhelmed after receiving this welcome news. PP Jhanja Das conducted the proceedings of the ceremony ably.
A person having Global eminence Dr Nalini Pati is currently serving as the Vice–Chairman of World Odisha Society. He is the former President of Odia Society of Australia; Orioz. Inc. An associate professor Dr Nalini Pati is currently serving as a senior consultant of Hematology, Oncology, Pediatric Hematology in Australia’s Canberra Hospital. He has also been discharging responsibilities of senior faculty in Australian National University, University of Canberra and visiting professor of Manipal University at Manipal in India. Dr Pati also conducts International Clinical trials in Hematology. Having a brilliant academic and professional career, Dr Pati is a techno savvy and progressive looking physician. An extremely hard working, honest, dedicated, helpful, affable, responsible, punctual and trust worthy human being with extraordinary organizational skill, Dr Pati will be a huge asset for Rotary International.
Dr Nalini Pati has had the rare honour of receiving several prestigious Awards and recognitions for his spectacular contributions to Medical World and society at large.These include Dual Fellowship like FRACP & FRCPA in Australia, ST Achar Gold Medal by IAP, India, Excellence in Professional service by NATA in Australia, Life Time Achievement Award for excellence in serving in rural Australia, Gold Medal from Royal Australasia College of Physician and several Community Service Awards in India and Australia. Dr Pati has also been actively involved in various community awareness programmes on cancer, cardiac health and other Medical emergencies. After being collared as the President of Rotary E–Club, Dr Pati has been congratulated by World Odisha Society Chairman Kishore Dwibedi, PDG Jayashree Mohanty, Rtn.
