AIMF announces tie-up with JDS, YSR Cong, and TSR for Lok Sabha polls
Delhi: The All India Minority Front (AIMF) has announced its tie-up with HD Kumaraswamy’s party Janta Dal (Secular) in Karnataka for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls against communal Bhartiya Janata Party.

The AIMF, however, said it would field candidates in many constituencies, represented by other political parties in the state.

Making the announcement at a press statement, AIMF national president Mr SM Asif said, "Our alliance will certainly defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah’s communal party in Karnataka."

"I have full confidence that we will crush the saffron party in the Lok Sabha elections," he said.

Mr Asif said that during the BJP rule in the country, poverty, unemployment and corruption grew and there had been scams in various defence deals.

Meanwhile, Mr Asif announced that AIMF will tie up in Andhra Pradesh with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR Congress Party and in Telangana it will tie up with K. Chandrashekar Rao’s Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).

Mr Asif further said, “We will emerge as a force to reckon with and to pass a law to see that locals are given preference in jobs, which would be helpful for the youth to get employment.”
