Teenage girl raped, killed in UP

Mainpuri (UP): A teenage girl was allegedly killed after rape by her neighbour in Inderpur village here, police said.

20-year-old Sanju yesterday abducted the girl from her house and beat her to death after allegedly raping her. Her body was recovered outside the village, SP Happy Guptan said.

After committing the crime, the accused consumed poison.

He was rushed to a hospital in Fatehgarh, he said.

The crime appear to be a fallout of love affair, the SP said, adding that the girl's father has lodged an FIR against Sanju.
