Shandar Amrohi dies

Mumbai: Shandar Amrohi, son of legendary film maker Kamal Amrohi who was recently in the news for her biography, has passed away in Goa. He was 68.

He died Sunday morning.

"Yes, my brother is no more. The cause of the death we will reveal later. I am in Mazgaon Kabristan near Byculla right now for his last rites," Tazdar Amrohi, Shandar's younger brother said.

Amrohi was in news few months back when he made Preity Zinta his 'adopted daughter' and was ready to give her his share of inheritance worth of Rs 600 crore. However after denial from the pretty Bollywood girl, a miffed Amrohi decided to shun his decision and omitted her name from his controversial biography 'From no where to somewhere'.
