London: It may be snowing in the UK but it's nothing but hot for Cody Kennedy in the U.S. The 20-year-old actress was spotted on a photo shoot on Venice Beach in California yesterday.

Showing off her trim figure in a blue grey bikini, Cody was shooting the images for Lee + Lani Swimwear.

As the blonde posed on the sand in the sunshine, she appeared a bit unsure of what to do.

Smiling for the camera and brushing her long hair away from her face, she eventually looked comfortable when she was joined by two other bikini-clad females.

According to the Daily Mail, the threesome strolled along the beach with one another chatting away as they took a break from modelling.

Cody - who is currently dating Gene Simmons' son Nick - was named as Nylon magazine's It Girl back in 2008.

Her older sister, Cory, is also associated with the magazine after appearing in it several times and may have been one of the brunettes who joined her on the beach yesterday.

Cody looks set to have a promising career after she starred in several television programmes last year including Glee and Law And Order.

This year will see her promoting horror sequel, Pirahna 3DD, in which she plays a lifeguard.
