LA: She was one of the biggest names in modelling in the late 1980s and early 1990s. But it seems at 47, Linda Evangelista has still not lost her edge.
The former supermodel is seen here in a new risqué fashion shoot - where she plays the role of an imaginary housewife - who enjoys a double life as a superhero.
But Linda is not your average superhero in the spread for W magazine - and has something of a naughty side.
According to the Daily Mail report, Mother-of-one Evangelista dons a naked latex bodysuit in some of the frames while clad in an array of superhero-inspired outfits.
In one shot she goes 'full frontal', wearing knee-high boots and a red cape - while in another she spills out of a form-fitting yellow suit while zipping it up.
The key theme is leather, latex and an array of colourful plastic wigs, with the styling done by Edward Enninful and photographer Steven Klein calling the shots.
Evangelista hit the headlines earlier this year in her very public child support battle with billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault over their son five-year-old son Augie.
Both sides eventually reached an agreement in May, with Pinault - who runs a luxury-goods conglomerate and is now married to actress Salma Hayek - agreeing to pay an undisclosed sum.
In spite of the widely-reported monthly figure of $46,000 that Evangelista was apparently asking for, her lawyer said she wasn't asking for any particular amount.
At the height of her career, she famously said supermodels 'don't wake up for less than $10,000.But she has since insisted the remark, given to Vogue in 1990, was a joke.
