Harvesting Festival of Orissa- Nuakhai celebration on Sep 12

New Delhi: The harvesting festival of Orissa Nuakhai will be celebrated on 12th September, 2010 (Sunday) at Jagannath Mandir premises at Hauz Khas, New Delhi.

The celebration will have an interactive session (Bhetghat) from 6.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. followed by two hours of cultural programme and ‘Ukia” a dance troupe from Sambalpur will be presenting Sambalpuri Folk Dance. Prasad will be served thereafter.

 The organizers have asked the people to join the Nuakhai Celebration with the family members.
