WI wins toss, elects to bat

Mirpur: In the first Quarter-final of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, the West Indies has won the toss and chose to bat against Pakistan here today.

West Indies have made three changes to their side bringing in Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Kemar Roach in place of Kirk Edwards, Sulieman Benn and Andre Russell.

Pakistan has brought in Saeed Ajmal in place of Abdur Rehman.

Pakistan: Shahid Afridi (c), Mohammad Hafeez, Kamran Akmal, Asad Shafiq, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Umar Akmal, Abdul Razzaq, Umar Gul, Wahab Riaz, Saeed Ajmal.

West Indies: Darren Sammy (c), Devon Smith, Chris Gayle, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Darren Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Devon Thomas, Devendro Bishoo, Ravi Rampaul, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Kemar Roach.
