It is Fort Knox. Fort Knox, located in Kentucky, is the United States' most iconic and heavily fortified bullion depository. Established in 1936, it is synonymous with unparalleled security and houses a significant portion of the U.S. gold reserves. The depository is protected by a 22-ton blast-proof door, reinforced steel walls, and advanced electronic systems. It is surrounded by military personnel and armored vehicles, with nearby Fort Knox Army Base adding an extra layer of security. The military base also has a separate runway for aircraft landing and take-off.

Very few individuals have ever been allowed inside Fort Knox. Even the U.S. President is believed to require special permission, underscoring the extreme level of restricted access.

Fort Knox became operational in 1937, during the Great Depression, when the U.S. sought a secure location for its growing gold reserves. It has safeguarded not just gold, but also valuable historical documents like the U.S. Constitution during World War II.
