Air defence operations are still ongoing and a detailed briefing will be conducted in due course, the Indian Air Force said on Sunday after India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire on Saturday.
The Indian Air Force's disclosure comes just a day after the United States announced it had mediated a peace agreement between the two nuclear-armed nations.
However, the fragile ceasefire held for only a few hours before Pakistan resumed heavy shelling along the International Border in the Rajouri sector and Srinagar. But things returned to normal on Sunday with no firing or projectiles reported in border areas as people returned to their daily chores.
