New Delhi: ‘Battlefield and Beyond’, a concept to bring out the real time interactive event on the life of our fallen soldiers, to keep our generations aware and concerned about our War Heroes.
A Documentary on the life of a Braveheart who laid his life in Kargil war, curated by Metamorphes and Marwah Studio, ‘Virasat: Battlefield and Beyond’ was premiered in New Delhi. The film is a touching documentation about the life and times of Major CB Dwivedi Sena Medal (Postumously) and of his journey and his supreme sacrifice for the nation.
Lt General Adosh Kumar PVSM, AVSM, SM, Director General Artillery, who was the Chief Guest spoke about the critical role played by the officers like CBD and other artillery officers in the Kargil war. He also appreciated the role being played by Metamorphes towards highlighting the deeds of such bravehearts.
Dr Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Film and TV Institute and Chairperson of Marwah Studios was Chief Patron, spoke about the making of the documentary and how such stories are immensely inspiring and that duty towards nation comes first. He talked about the positive impact of the Armed Forces in making everyone a better human being.
Mrs Anjali Karkare, General Secretary of War Widows Associations was guest of Honor. Mrs Bhawna Dwivedi, wife of Major Dwivedi and their daughters, Dr Neha Dwivedi and Deeksha Dwivedi, who have written books on their father, were also present and talked about Major CB Dwivedi in an interactive session.
Other dignitaries who attended the function were Mrs Damyanti Tambey (President war Widows Association), Mrs Veena Naravane Author and wife of former Indian Army Chief Gen Manoj Narawane, USI Director General BK Sharma AVSM, SM and Bar, Writer Ambreen Zaidi, Col Romil Birthwal Boots and Crampons Mountaineer and many other both serving and retired Defence officers.
