Kate Moss replaced by Gisele Bundchen in David Yurman's new campaign LA: Kate Moss has been dropped as the face of New York jeweller David Yurman, who has replaced her with Brazilian catwalk queen Gisele Bundchen in his new campaign.

Moss, 38, modelled for the brand for eight years but Gisele, 32, is the new face of this season’s collection.

The snub comes after Kate allegedly upset Yurman by posing for photographs for fashion house Fred, with whom she co-designed a jewellery line.

In the shoot, Kate went topless, just as she had in the Yurman campaign and the two campaigns were strikingly similar.

Yurman said at the time: ‘The Fred campaign is embarrassingly similar to the one David Yurman ran a year ago.

'We are confident consumers know the difference.’

A source close to the jewellery house said: ‘David decided that after Kate’s faux pas she just wasn’t the right fit for the brand any longer.’

Kate, worth £12 million, recently admitted to a relaxed work ethic.

‘Sometimes I go to work,’ she said. ‘Sometimes I go to work hung over. Sometimes I don’t turn up at all.’

A spokesman for David Yurman said the firm used many models. Kate declined to comment.
