New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday ordered a status quo on the much heated Karnataka political crisis asking the state Governor KR Ramesh Kumar not to take any decision on either accepting resignations of any rebel MLA or even disqualification proceeding which has been initiated against them till July 16. The apex court also stated that further hearing in the matter will take place on July 16. A bench headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi is hearing a bunch of pleas moved by the Speaker and the rebel Congress and JD(S) MLAs.
