Delhi: India recorded 62,482 cases on Thursday, taking the total caseload to 20,23,821, as per data collated from state governments. India has the fastest growth rate of the infection 3.1% Globally, the death toll from the virus has crossed the 7-lakh mark, with over 18 million infection worldwide.

In a worrisome trend , people who have been cured of the coronavirus have been returning in a month or so complaining of other respiratory illnesses, namely. pulmonary fibrosis.

Pulmonary fibrosis is the severe scarring of the lungs. It causes shortness of breath , requiring oxygen support for long durations , in some cases, for an individual entire life.
