President of India Droupadi Murmu presents National Florence Nightingale Awards 2022-23

New Delhi: The President of India, Droupadi Murmu presented the National Florence Nightingale Awards for the years 2022 and 2023 to the Nursing professionals at a function held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 22, 2023.
 
The National Florence Nightingale Award was instituted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India in the year 1973 as a mark of recognition for the meritorious services rendered by the nurses and nursing professionals to the society.
 
Namita Kalita from Assam, Sujata Peter Tuscano from Maharasthra, Dimkhanman Hangshing from Manipur, Tejavath Susheela from Telangana, Rita Mondal from WB, Reliance Pyrngap from Meghalaya, Athodo Lyngge from Arunachal Pradesh, Anita Nakra from Delhi, Maj Gen Smita Devrani VSM from Delhi, Dr Poreddi Vijaylakshmi from Karnataka, Hindumbi K from Lakshadweep, Sebati Sahu from Odisha, Neeraj Tamboliya from Rajasthan, Ganapathy Santhy from Tamil Nadu, Manju Kaira from Uttarakhand  eceived the award.
