New Delhi: Former Bihar deputy Chief Minister and BJP senior leader Sushil Kumar Modi passed away on Monday night at the age of 72 in Delhi AIIMS after suffering from cancer. Today, Sushil Kumar Modi's last rites were performed at the Digha Ghat, Patna with full state honours. Several BJP leaders including, BJP national president JP Nadda, Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha and others expressed their condolence on the demise of Sushil Kumar Modi.
BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi and Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha said that Sushil Modi has played a major role in establishing a government in Bihar and it is irreplaceable for the politics of Bihar. "He played a vital role in establishing good governance in Bihar...It is an irreplaceable loss for the politics of Bihar."
BJP national president JP Nadda said, "It is a matter of grief that a senior leader & a person who took forward BJP's ideology- Sushil Modi is not with us anymore. He left us in middle age. Sushil ji was one of those leaders who spent 40 years of his life from Bharatiya Jana Sangh to BJP.
